In these times a job is a job. But I am guessing that if the poor bastard took the job, he knows the truth by now.

PLEASE REALLY READ THIS AND UNDERSTAND IT!:

I took this position with the same mind frame that you have. "hey it's a job." I made diamond level two years in a row AND my second year was during the recession. Yes, I am fortunate I have a job and a lot of ppl are out of work. HOWEVER, I feel like I understand a lot more about my self in regards to life, career, and happiness.

I use to think people sounded crazy when they said money doesn't = happiness. Or when I was in college and I thought that making 100k was ideal. 100k is great but a lot of the micro managing and unethical things that go on in middle management isn't worth it. NOT with Cintas anyways.

There are a ton of companies in the world you can work for and make MORE money and be happy too. When you first join Cintas they make you feel like they are the best company in the world to work for and you find out at an early stage that your like cattle and very disposable.

I have no hard feelings toward the company, but don't put the company before yourself. Work hard with them for two years get your awards and money and move into medical device sales or something else. This company is strictly a resume builder to get your foot into the door with a organization who has reps that have been with them for 10+ years make money and are happy.

Good luck to you if you do accept the job. Make sure to TRUST NO ONE, keep everything professional, and if your manager promises you anything HAVE THEM PUT IT IN WRITING.
