Hope it wasn't a virus sent to your system?

No, not a virus, mechanical (hard drive) failure. The cafepharma data is coming back online now, and so far, it doesn't look like anything was lost.

We'll keep this board open for a little while until we sure things are stable over there.

Please hurry to get back up. BI is having a layoff Tuesday and we need to be able to communicate on cafepharma.

When I try to log on I get a page from "Drupal"? Whats this? Is it safe to proceed?

They are working on it.

To access the boards, you can go to www.cafepharma.com/boards.

The boards may be up and down as work continues on the server though

Any thoughts on why I haven't been able to get in for about 5 days? My spouse was able to get in from work at exactly the same time I couldn't get in from home. Any help would be appreciated.

I have Verizon Wireless at home and cannot access Cafepharma from any computer in the house. If I take a laptop from home and go to the public library I can get onto Cafepharma.com. This just started a few days ago. It seems like it is a problem with Verizon and not any of my computers.

Have been having the same problem for the last week, too. Using Verizon DSL, but was able at least once to get connected using Verizon DSL. Can't access the main company boards, but got here through googling "cafepharma site down".... Is there a Verizon firewall that was recently put up? NEVER had a problem in the past several years, Help!!

Same exact problem! I think your on to something. If you find a correction to the possible problem with Verizon, please post it. Thanks! When ever I try to log on to Cafepharma through Verizon Wireless, I get a message saying that the "link is broken."

I'm in the exact same boat here. I have Verizon DSL and it stopped working for me about 6 days ago now. Has anybody called them?

I spent an hour in a chat session with a tech from Verizon last night. At the end of the session, he/she basically said there was nothing wrong with Verizon and that it must be an issue with either the site or my browser. I was pretty ticked, but thought I would try phone support tonight.

We apologize for the inconvenience to those who are not able to access the site. We are working with both our internal tech support and the tech admins at the hosting company to attempt to resolve this issue.

At this point it does seem that the common denominator is Verizon internet service (though we cant say definitively that no other users have had problems). Additionally it appears to be some problem with DNS or domain name resolution. If the problem is related to a caching issue at the DNS level it may work itself out over time.

We are continuing to work on the problem. If anyone has any additional information that may be helpful, please let us know.

I have not been able to access CafePharma for the past 4 days. My internet access is via WOW cable, not Verizon. Apparently the problem is not limited to access via Verizon portal.
